i would think the evo. it has that new mivec that gets more power out of 4 cylinders stock. But with a turbo on it. The thing is faster. Handeling is pobably the same
What year Impreza and Lancer?
In my opinion, the WRX STI is better. It is more comfortable. It comes with more standard features and options. It has a higher quality interior. It is more reliable. It is just as fun to drive.
The Evo is actually faster, but it is not noticable. It is maybe 1 second faster around a track.
the evo has a little better handling, acceleration, and top speed. its downfall is the cheaper interior parts that make it up. I would like one only if the interior was better but I will go with the Subaru because of the better quality.
The Evo is better looking and in the FQ or MR guise its faster too. Theres not much in it with the handling but i reckon the Evo slightly shades the Subaru with its Active Yaw Control. But theres something about hearing that flat four burble of the Subaru that makes you want one!
A Mazdaspeed 3 is better. My opinion.

The Evo is cheaper, faster, and better looking, but the STi has a much nicer interior and is more comfortable.
