What is the best bang for the buck performance car?

probably a 350z or a chevy corvette
Subaru Legacy 2.0. It’s horsepower should be sufficient if you’re having a child on board.
Road and Track recently had an article titled best sports cars under 30k. The Nissan 350Z and Fort Mustang top the list
Gosh, No I4, or V6!!!! If you want Bang for the buck, try a little muscle……And not some Foreign Job. Corvettes are great, but can be costly. A Dodge charger, or Chrysler 300C would be a good start, especially for a child to ride in as well.
I read in Motor Trend Magazine that the 2007 Corvette Z06 beat the Porche 911 Carrera hands down. The only place they were tied was the slalom, with Porche running 71.0 mph avg. and Vet running 70.8 mph avg. Braking was 3 ft. longer in the Vet at 60-0, but was 7 ft shorter at 110-0. The Vet was also lighter, quicker, and more maneuverable. It cost $20K less too.
If you have a daughter, do you think it’s smart to risk your life by racing?
Chrysler 300 or Dodge Charger w/Hemi engine. Maybe a good to excllent used BMW 540i or M-5. Then there is the Mustang GT,Cobra and GT 500 all have good performance and a usable rear seat.As for sedans the BMW is at the top. Warchild
From what I heard the 350z is only a 2 seater, The corvette C6 would be a really good car if you want the best performance to money ratio
You can’t do a 2 seater or I would have voted Honda S2000. (I had an S2K and have a daughter and had to part with it). So I would have to say the BMW M3. Plenty of raw power, excellent handling, and seating for 5. Good luck!
I would have to say the dodge neon SRT-4. it comes with plenty of power stock and for a few bucks more you can really make it fly.
other than that if money is no option. then the JEEP grand Cherokee SRT-8 AWD. 0 to 60 times under 5 seconds wet or dry pavement =-) and you can say yeah it has a hemi lol.

I saw your question last night and could think of nothing ,but today a customer came in with a MAZDA 3 sp23 that was N/A and I was walking by it in the shop and one of our young techs said “HEY,Robert check this mazda out it’s pretty tight ” so I did and it WAS PRETTY tight,just like he said and I thought of this question,i swear ,so when I was cashing him out the tech asked the customer some questions and he loved the car -ONLY HE WISHED HE HAD WAITED FOR THE TURBO! now this thing looked tight and ran HARD without a turbo -I can only imagine what it was like WITH A TURBO!!! It was a 4 door hatch with 17″ wheels ,check it out!
